AMD 2023/01/09 15h10 Substantial amount of water flowing out of the AMD wetlands. Access roads flooded. Normally all the flow is in the one concrete pipe. Guess the excessive decanting is ongoing due to the heavy rains. Without an water analysis one would know what the water is actually like. There was an e-mail from the responsible person at DWS confirming that the Western Basin decanting is ongoing and that the treatment plant is working above capacity to minimise the impact. They are expecting the decanting to continue.
