Cradle River pollution

  2023/07/27   15:56  At the confluence of the Blougat (sewage pollution) and the Riet (acid mine water).  One can see the Blougat with its high level of discolouration mixing with the relatively clear water from the Riet before carrying on downstream.  This point is within the core of the Cradle.

  Bergland. 2023/07/24 09h45. Water level about normal.  Visibility staying poor, can’t see bed.  Water has a dark greyish tint to it.  A slight rotten/detergent type of smell.  Some foam present. Increase in foam where water gets agitated.  Gassing taking place.
