Cradle River pollution

2024/07/16 10:30 Munsieville Ext.4 Sewage pump station.  The intersection outside the Munsieville Sewage Pump Station.  Currently not overflowing but signs of a recent overflow. An overflowing manhole across the road from the pump station, flowing down the valley and into the Blougat Spruit. The screen at the pump station waiting to be switched on.   The sump area of the pump station, the one pump is in and new shiny pipes connected.  Waiting for the second pump.

Bergland. 2024/07/16 09:10 Water has a lighter greyish/greenish  discolouration.  Some smell almost slight chemical smell present. Fatty film floating on the surface.  No foam, but lots of gassing and almost no floating black clumps.

2024/07/16 9:00. Blougat Spruit at the N14. Grey with a slight greenish tint.  Reasonable amount of foam.  Some smell present.  Looking downstream. Looking upstream (back towards Percy Stewart)
