Raw sewage flowi ng down the road past another overflowing manhole and on down the valley into the Blougat Spruit. The screen waiting to be switched on. Raw sewage flowing out of a manhole diagonally across the road from the pump station, across the intersection.  Somebody's pet drinking the sewage. The intersection looking down the valley.  2024/07/03 10:30  Munsieville ext.4.  This is the Munsieville pump station that was supposed to have been switched on by Friday last week.  Still nothing switched on and the residents here aren’t very impressed. Apparently when it was switched on pipes connecting the pumps to the infrastructure system started leaking due to rust as a result of being immersed in the sewage in the sump of the pump station for an extended period of time.  They have been removed for new ones to be fabricated.

Bergland. 2024/07/03 09:00 Water has a dark greyish black discolouration with slight greenish tint.  Smell present close to the river, has a slight fatty odour. No foam, but lots of gassing and some floating black clumps.
