Cradle River pollution

 AMD 2023/04/12 9h15 There is still an substantial amount of water flowing out of the AMD wetlands, although there is a reduction in the first channel the combined amount of the three channels is still higher than was present last year with only a single channel. Redish precipitation taking place on the bed of the newer outflows. New outflows since the beginning of this year has consistently high volume of water. Original channel - water flow slightly reduced. This is the old channel with a diminished outflow today.

 Bergland. 2023/04/12 8h40. Water flow about normal, from the level of the rocks.  Visibility staying poor, can’t see bed.  Water has a dark grey tint to it.  Strongish rotten smell in the air.  Almost no foam present.

  Bergland. 2023/03/23 8h50. Water flow about normal, from the level of the rocks.  Visibility staying poor, can’t see bed.  Water has a slight green tint to it.  Strong almost fish market smell in the air.  Quite a lot of foam present.  Clumps of black stuff floating in the water.

  Bergland. 2023/03/09 8h40. Water flow still slightly increased.  Visibility staying poor, can’t see bed.  Water has a noticeable dirty colour to it, but a slightly darker tint this morning.  Strong slightly oily smell in the air.  Quite a lot of foam present.

 Bergland. 2023/02/28 8h40. Water flow still slightly increased.  Visibility staying poor, can’t see bed.  Water has a noticable dirty colour to it, but a slight brown tint this morning.  No noticable particles in suspension. Strong smell in the air.  No foam present.

Water flow still slightly increased.  Visibility staying poor, can’t see bed.  Water has a noticable dirty colour to it.  Particles in suspension.  Strong stench/smell in the air.  Quite a lot of foam present.  Can see the growth on the rocks and the suspended solids in the video. In previous seasons after rain it took time to deteriorate, this season even after heavy rains it is staying consistently bad. Confirms what Andrew is seeing earlier this morning at Greensleeves.
