2023/06/02 12h37 Delportan sewage truck dump site. Mogale has made it easier for the spillage to get to the Blougat. Location: https://maps.google.com/?q=-26.079714,27.738575 Some equipment here. attending too previous complaint of manholes overflowing into the Blougat Spruit. A manhole rings have been moved and some overflow, some action but!! The manhole that was originally overflowing, very wet around it. Mogale staff busy with rods to hopefully clear the problem! (can see them in the bush)
Bergland. 2023/06/02 13:25. Water level about normal. Visibility staying poor, can’t see bed. Water has a greyish tint to it. Strongish rotten smell almost fish market type in the air. 2023/05/26, 10h46 Delportan, previously reported overflowing manhole problem ongoing. Top photo shows raw sewage flowing down side of ravine and will go into the Blougat Spruit. The following three are of the actual manhole and immediate area around it. Was re-reported to Mogale on their whatsapp line.
