Discoloured water and foam present on the Blaauwbank Spruit at the Danielsrust road on the 4th July 2023 at 08h47.

  Bergland. 2023/07/03 17:30. Water level about normal.  Visibility staying poor, can’t see bed.  Water has a dark greyish colour to it.  Strongish smell.  Not much foam present. Gassing taking place.

  3rd July 2023. 17h14. Delportan manhole, although not overflowing now it would appear that it is intermittently overflowing from the puddles of water next to it.  Any overflow goes down the side of the ravine into the Blougat Spruit.

  26th June 2023 11h15.  Delportan, manhole on the man sewer line to Percy Stewart waste water treatment works overflowing again.  The overflow goes down the side of the ravine and into the Blougat Spruit.  Was reported to Mogale Municipality.

  2023/06/24 09h12  Extreme foam on the Blaauwbank Spruit downstream from the Danielsrust low water bridge.  Sent by landowner.

  AMD 2023/06/20 9:15 There is still an substantial amount of water flowing out of the AMD wetlands, the original channel is the volume there always has been 1st pic, the 2nd pic shows the additional flow although less than earlier this year.

Water level about normal.  Visibility staying poor, can’t see bed.  Water has a greyish and slight greenish tint to it.  Strongish fatty type smell.  Not much foam present.  A lot of particles in suspension. Gassing taking place. Seems to have a thin oil film on the water surface.
